Steven L. Ginsberg   |   President of Revival Theatre Company’s Board of Directors

Owner and vice president of Ginsberg Jewelers, a family firm in Cedar Rapids since 1930. Steve has participated on many community boards: Task Force for Character Development, Planned Parenthood of East Central Iowa, Temple Judah, Brucemore Inc, Theatre Cedar Rapids, and now Revival Theatre Company. He is an active supporter and practitioner of the arts in Cedar Rapids, having performed with Theatre Cedar Rapids, Torchlight Theatrics-Classics at Brucemore, the Cedar Rapids Symphony Orchestra Pops Concerts & Follies, Urban Theater Project of Iowa, and SPT Theatre.

Aaron J. Blair   |   Vice President of Revival Theatre Company

Aaron J. Blair is an Associate Attorney practicing with Day Rettig Martin, P.C. in Cedar Rapids. Aaron earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal. In this leadership role and several others, Aaron developed a passion for growing organizations, building relationships within and across communities, and maximizing the potentials of individuals and teams to achieve and surpass their common goals.

Aaron’s love of the arts, especially theatre, arose as he pursued his Classical Studies degree from Southwestern University, where he focused on Greek and Roman art, architecture, mythology, literature, and theatre. Ever since, Aaron, together with his wife, Michelle (Director of Orchestras at Coe College), has been an advocate for arts programs in schools and artistic organizations in communities. Since moving to Cedar Rapids in 2015, Aaron has been consistently impressed by the exemplary level of artistry presented by the Revival Theatre Company’s productions and is thrilled to be working with the outstanding board members and artistic staff of Revival Theatre Company.

Kory Kazimour   |   Treasurer

Born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Kory earned a BBA in Marketing from Iowa State and then spent a few years in Dallas TX earning her MBA and MLA degrees while working at an advertising agency. She moved back home to pursue a career in Marketing with various companies including Ralston Foods and McLeodUSA. Kory also had the pleasure of working for her family business – RFK Transportation – prior to working at Frontier Coop, where she forecasts sales demand for over 2,000 products and analyzes sales trends/data. Kory serves on several boards and offers her time to a number of organizations in the community.

While Kory can’t sing or act and dancing is debatable, she has a strong appreciation for theatre and is a fan of musicals. She can, however, balance the books and budget with the best of them.

Vannessia Klinsky   |   Secretary of Revival Theatre Company’s Board of Directors

Manager, Clinical Audit Team, United Healthcare Networks, Vannessia has been involved in music since high school, actively involved in show choir, madrigal, chamber choir, women’s choir, mixed choir, band, muscials, and many small vocal and brass groups. Although her chosen vocation was nursing, she continued in music at Coe College, participating in Women’s Chorale and Concert Band while pursuing her nursing degree. She was also cast as one of the “Grecian Urns” and “Pick a Little Ladies” in a 2013 concert production of The Music Man. When her youngest daughter began participating in vocal music and orchestra in middle school, she became an active volunteer in the music community. She is actively involved in Cedar Rapids Washington High School Parents of the Performing Arts. For the last 3 years has been the coordinator of summer show choir and theatre camps in the community, and brings those skills to the Board of Directors as Secretary, and Coordinator of Revival Theatre Academy’s Summer Academy.

Carma Lou Beck   |   Advertising/Promotion Director

Carma Lou Beck has been active in the music community for many years. She was the Co-founder and Executive Producer of Follies for 17 years and for the past 10 years on staff at Jim McDonough Productions. Carma Lou was the owner of Carma Lou’s House of Music in Cedar Rapids, Waterloo and Des Moines, and was recently chosen by NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) to promote retail business on their web site and in their museum in Carlsbad, Ca. She has been organist/pianist at Noelridge Christian Church for 17 years and also plays piano at private parties and retirement centers. Carma Lou has a successful teaching program in her home, working with adults who “have always wanted to play the piano”.

Tiffany O’Donnell   |   Revival Theatre Company Board Member

Tiffany is a veteran Emmy-award winning journalist and former news anchor for CBS2/Fox 28 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She is currently the Chief Operating Officer for Iowa Women Lead Change (IWLC).  While television is her home, the stage is her first love. Tiffany began performing in community theatre at the age of 11 (in Lillian Hellman’s The Children’s Hour). A singer, Tiffany’s biggest stage was the Atlantic City Convention Center representing Iowa as Miss Iowa in the 1989 Miss America Pageant. Today, she enjoys guest appearances on stage performances and in a local band called Jif & the Choosy Mothers. She says her greatest pleasure is now watching her own daughters perform in school and community events.

Nina Brundell   |   Revival Theatre Company Board Member

Owner of Kieck’s Career Apparel & Uniforms (2010) and K Jean’s Uniforms (2010). Previously Campaign Coordinator for Theatre Cedar Rapids and avid fundraiser for various nonprofits in Cedar Rapids. Theatre volunteer and performer for TCR & RTC. Wife to Paul and mother of three teenage boys which means she spends time with her girlfriends as much as possible!

David McInally   |   Revival Theatre Company Board Member

David McInally joined the Cedar Rapids community in 2013 to begin his service as the 15th President of Coe College. He formerly served Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania, as Executive Vice President and Treasurer. His professional interests include environmental sustainability, strategic planning, and financing college for students in need. He holds a master’s degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Akron and a doctorate in Administrative and Policy Studies from the University of Pittsburgh.

Dave and his wife, Janice, are active in numerous civic organizations in Cedar Rapids and the region. His interest in the arts–and theater in particular–began with roles in a variety of scholastic and community theater productions in Ohio and Pennsylvania. He also spent two decades playing lead guitar in a series of rock bands, which he describes as “just another form of musical theater.” He sees the Revival Theatre Company as a tremendous opportunity to enhance a thriving arts community and as a showcase for our region’s abundant supply of talent.

John Hughes   |   Revival Theatre Company Board Member

John is owner of Hughes Nursery & Landscaping. He is a native Cedar Rapidian, while growing up he attended College Community Prairie and later Iowa State University. John participated in and held leadership roles in a number of clubs and organizations such as Presidents leadership class, Cardinal Key, ISU Foundation, and University Impact. While at Iowa State he found his best friend and wife to be.

John accepted a position as a horticulture equipment salesman for a manufacturing company In Portland, Oregon, and was quickly promoted to sales manager. While they thoroughly enjoyed the North West, they felt a scene of family and saw an opportunity to join the family business. In 2008 they returned to Cedar Rapids and decided to partner with John’s brother to purchase the business and become the fourth generation and celebrate 100 years in business.

Their Family continues to grow and become increasingly involved and active with the community and organizations. John serves on several boards and offers his time to numerous organizations such as Rotary, Boy Scouts, Iowa BIG, 100+ MEN, Network CR, Iowa Nursery and Landscape Association, SCUBA DiveMaster and Stone Bridge Church. In his personal time he enjoys cleaning and developing his farm and watching their Daughter Kathryn grow and giggle. John and wife Hillary will welcome a new baby boy this summer and continue the traditions and legacy’s they’ve enjoyed.

Miranda Wehr   |   Revival Theatre Company Board Member

Miranda Wehr was born and raised in a small town in northern Iowa. She attended the University of Iowa and Mercy/St Luke’s School of Radiologic Technology. Her and her husband, Mike, have been in Cedar Rapids for over ten years. As a former board member of the Playtime Poppy Children’s Theater she was in charge of scholarships and grants that funded and supported local schools and their theater departments. She continues to stay active in the community as a volunteer for March of Dimes and as a Loaned Executive for the United Way of East Central Iowa. She is the proud mother of two sons, Beccham and Maverick, and is excited to be a part of what the Revival Theater Company is doing to support the arts in our community.
