Amy Friedl Stoner | Mother -Ragtime
Amy Friedl Stoner is an accomplished and versatile soprano and cabaret singer. A frequent leading lady, her favorite leading roles include: Maria in Sound of Music, Lizzie in Baby, Cathy in The Last 5 Years, and Marcy in Dogfight. Her cabaret shows Amy at the Opus: The Story Goes On and Tapestry: The Music of Carole King were both incredibly successful, selling out all shows in advance of their opening, including the Gaslight Theatre in St. Louis.
Amy recently made her Chicago debut at Davenport’s Piano Bar, and soon followed with her debut performance at New York’s Metropolitan Room. Amy has performed with the legendary Marilyn Maye as a special guest in her show at Lake Okoboji. The past 2 summers, Amy participated in the prestigious St. Louis Cabaret Conference, where she worked with some of the top artists in the cabaret industry. She had an incredibly successful sold-out run of the Cabaret in the Courtyard series at the beautiful Brucemore Historical Mansion. Tim Arnold | Father - Ragtime
Tim Arnold is returning to Revival Theatre Company after previously having played the role of Che in last season’s Evita. A resident of Marion, he studied Acting and Voice at Western Kentucky University, before joining the U.S. Air Force for the better part of a decade while putting his love of performing on the back burner. Since leaving the military and relocating to Cedar Rapids in 2006, he has turned the heat back up, working with many area theatre companies. Some of his more notable credits include Malcolm in The Full Monty, Claude in Hair, and Andrew Jackson in Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson. He has recently joined his better half, Jordan, in wedded bliss and also has three wildly above-average children, Autumn, Michaela, and Tristan. In addition to theatre, he plays guitar and sings, performing regularly in Eastern Iowa under the stage name Tim Riven.
Angela Billman | Dot - Sunday in the Park with George
Angela Billman, under the direction of Brian Glick and some form of Revival Theatre Company, this is Angela’s second opportunity to play a woman named Violet. Her first chance was as a siamese twin in Side Show. Other favorite roles include Maria in Westside Story, Amelia Summerland in The Summerland Project, Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Gwendolen Fairfax in The Importance of Being Earnest. She sends great thanks to Cameron & Brian and, as always, big love to her family and cute husband Greg.
Cameron Byrd | Ragtime Ensemble
Cameron is very blessed and honored to be a part of Revival Theatre Company. This marks his seventh time performing with the company. Previously he was seen in, Victor/Victoria, Grey Gardens, Evita, Violet, Parade In Concert, Pippin, and Children of Eden. Cameron has been seen in roles such as Marty in Dreamgirls, Tom Collins in Rent, The Duke of Plaza Toro in The Gondoliers, Riff Raff in Rocky Horror Picture Show, and an Apostle in Jesus Christ Superstar. He has also been a part of many other companies throughout the community. Cameron would like to thank his mom and dad for being such amazing influences in his life and his twin brother Antonio for being his rock and best friend.
Rosemary Gast | Yvonne/Naomi Eisen - Sunday in the Park with George
Rosemary Gast is honored to work with Revival Theatre. She is a lyric soprano who has performed the great operatic heroines of Mozart, Puccini and Verdi. Along with opera, she has been active in musical theatre singing several roles including Maria in
Sound Of Music, Fiona in Brigadoon, Ms. Hannigan in Annie, Violet in 9 to 5 Sour Kangaroo in Seussical the Musical, Mme. Thénardier in Les Misérables
and Ms. Andrews in Mary Poppins. She has been a frequent soloist with several symphonies and was the winner of the Central Regional Metropolitan Opera Awards. She was twice the finalist of the Friedrich Schorr Vocal Competition, awarding her roles in Britten’s Albert Herring
and Puccini’s Madame Butterfly. Rosemary is an active voice teacher and adjudicator who served as Iowa Chapter President of the National Association of Teachers of Singing. She is currently Professor of Voice at Wartburg College.
Aaron Brewer | Younger Brother - Ragtime and Robert Kincaid - The Bridges of Madison County
Aaron Brewer has enjoyed performing with many different theatre companies over the past 8 years. Recent credits include Grey Gardens with Revival, Little Shop of Horrors (RHCR), Rock of Ages (Nolte Academy), and American Idiot (U of I) Aaron is a Draft Beer Technician with Johnson Brothers of Iowa and owner of eco mow LLC. He thanks his wonderful girlfriend Hannah and their Morkie, Bogart for supporting him and “thank you” to this incredible cast and creative team for making this a great experience.
Steve Rezabek | Mr/Lee Randolph - Sunday in the Park with George
Steve Rezabek is thrilled to be a part of the Sunday in the Park with George cast, and to be on stage with these amazingly talented cast members. He has been doing regional theater for the past 30 years and has been seen in such shows as, Ragtime, Grey Gardens, Funny Girl, Parade, Les Miserables, Jesus Christ Superstar, LaCage Aux Folles, The Full Monty, and many other local regional productions. He thanks Brian and Cameron for the chance to share the Revival Theatre stage once again, and thanks Traci for her love and support and God for his family, talent, health and happiness.
Christina Farrell | Ensemble - Ragtime/ Francesca - The Bridges of Madison County
Christina Farrell received a BFA in Vocal Performance from Carnegie Mellon University and an MA in Educational Theatre from New York University. She is a Master Teaching Artist with the Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning Through the Arts, and facilitates professional development for the Kennedy Center and Turnaround Arts. She is the Founding Director of Opera Ignite, which has served as an educational collaborator with Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, Pittsburgh Festival Opera, Toledo Opera, and Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre. She performed for six years with the Washington National Opera chorus under the artistic direction of Placido Domingo. Roles include Nellie in South Pacific, Monica in The Medium, Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, Lucy in The Telephone, Agnes in I Do, I Do!, and Isabella in Suor Isabella. She has performed with Pittsburgh Fringe Festival, Pittsburgh Playwrights, and as a soloist with Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra.
Ezekiel Andrew | Coalhouse Walker Jr. - Ragtime
As a crossover artist of both opera and musical theater, Mississippi native, Ezekiel Andrew, has delighted audiences across the country. His upcoming appearances include Jim (Big River, Mississippi Bend Players – Augustana College) and Timur (Turandot, Mississippi Opera).
This past season, Ezekiel played the role of Kerchak in Disney’s Tarzan with Lubbock Moonlight
Broadway Musicals in Lubbock, TX, the title role of Rigoletto in Verdi’s Rigoletto with the
Mississippi Opera Young Artist Program and the University of Southern Miss., Camelot with the Natchez Festival of Music, and a return to Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theater Co. in the title role of Quasimodo in Disney’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame and as The Pirate King in Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance.
Most recently he played the title role of Phantom in USM’s production of Phantom of the
Opera, and reprised his role as Quasimodo in the Hunchback of Notre Dame with Meridian
Community Theater. Ezekiel attended Mississippi College for his undergraduate studies and Cincinnati Conservatory of Music as well as The University of Southern Mississippi for post graduate studies.
Susan Scharnau | Nurse/Elaine - Sunday in the Park with George
Susan Scharnau is honored to be back with Revival. Favorite shows include Ragtime, Dogfight, The Crucible, Midsummer Night’s Dream, Side Show, and Urinetown. She’s wishing her four young Americans “will travel with heads held high, just as far as their hearts will go…”
Casey Prince | Tateh - Ragtime
Casey Prince is elated to return to the stage with Revival’s Ragtime. Since returning to eastern Iowa more than 15 years ago he has directed and performed on a variety of the region’s stages. In recent years he’s played the role of supportive husband as his writer/actor wife Lindsay has become a staple of several area companies. But his most recent turn is as a stage dad for his daughters Eloise and Phoebe who have discovered a love for performing. Thank you to Revival for this opportunity to dust off the old vocal chords and sing the amazing music of Ragtime.
Daniel Gast | Jules/Bob Greenberg- Sunday in the Park with George
Daniel is very honored to be a part of Revival Theater. He is a native Iowan from Steamboat Rock and currently living in Cedar Falls. He has sung in the ensemble of Evita and was Juke/Ensemble in Victor/Victoria for Revival Theater. Daniel has sung operatic roles with Fargo/Morehead Opera, Dorian Opera Theater, and the Quad Cities Mozart Opera Festival. He has sung the roles of Daddy Warbucks in Annie, Thenardier in Les Mis and Will in Some Enchanted Evening. Daniel has musical directed 9 to 5, You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown, Seussical the Musical and Little Mermaid Jr. He is Sr. Lecturer of Voice at Wartburg College and musical director at Zion Lutheran Church in Waterloo, IA. He shares a private voice/piano studio, Gasthaus Music, with his wife, Rosemary.

Jan is a veteran of the theatre, spanning over 40 years. Jan is very happy to be back performing in a Revival Theatre production. Prior RTC roles include Berthe in Pippin and Mrs. Brice in Funny Girl. She has been performing at Theatre Cedar Rapids for 43 years. Favorite TCR roles include Grandma in Billy Elliot, Mama Rose in Gypsy, Fraulein Schneider in Cabaret and Miss Mona in The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. Jan has also performed in 20 Follies at the Paramount Theatre and was producer of Follies for four years. Jan is a Family Law and Bankruptcy attorney by day. Jan gives special thanks to her husband of 39 years, Mark, her family and her friends for their support for so many years.

Anne is thrilled to be a part of this amazing Ragtime cast. Anne was most recently seen on the TCR stage as Grace Farrell in Annie and in the Underground Festival production of The Exceptional Little Donkey. Anne has had the opportunity to perform with a number of other companies here in the area -Giving Tree Theatre, Dreamwell, and RHCR. Joshua Fryvecind (Willie Conklin/Harry K. Thaw) is pleased to make his Revival Theatre debut. His favorite roles include Bruce Fun Home and Lonny Rock of Ages. He is supported by his talented and lovely wife Mia and also his wonderfully talented son, Deuce, as well as his mother, father, and the rest of his family. Brett is thrilled to join Revival Theatre Company’s production of Ragtime! He is honored to be on the Revival stage for the very first time! By day he works as a Direct Support Professional for Abbe Health. He has been seen in various productions around the area including most recently: Rooster in Annie for Theater Cedar Rapids, The March Hare in Alice in Wonderland for Brucemore, and Billy Elliot for Theater Cedar Rapids. Joshua Green | Booker T. Washington - Ragtime
Joshua William Green is a Manhattan singer, actor, dancer originally from Youngstown, Ohio. Most recently he was seen as the Booker T. Washington understudy in the 2016 national tour of Ragtime and various productions at Sight and Sound Theatres. His next appearance will be in the Broadway chorus of Rocktopia. Lily Gast | Carolyn - The Bridges of Madison County
Lily Gast (Carolyn) is a senior who plans to major in Theatre Performance at University of Northern Iowa this coming fall. She has been active in local and regional theaters in Iowa. Some of her noted roles are Annie in Annie, Puck in Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream, Sally in You’re a good man, Charlie Brown, Ariel in The Little Mermaid and Little Red in Into the Woods. She has worked with Revival Theatre Company performing the roles of Iola Stover in Parade and Young Violet in Violet. Lily is excited perform the role of Carolyn in The Bridges of Madison County and to share the stage with her sister Marjorie, who is also in the cast.

Jessica Saunders | Frieda/Betty - Sunday in the Park with George
Jessica Saunders Soprano Jessica Saunders is a performer, teacher, and clinician based in Jesup, IA. Comfortable performing in a variety of styles, Saunders has performed in opera, musical theatre productions, and concerts throughout the state. Favorite roles include Rosalinda in Die Fledermaus, Despina in Così fan Tutte, and Fiametta in The Gondoliers. This is her third production with Revival Theatre Company and she will appear as Frieda in their production of Sunday in the Park with George this November. Saunders teaches applied voice at Kirkwood Community College and runs a flourishing private voice studio, Saunders Vocal Studios, in Coralville and Jesup. She holds a DMA in vocal performance and pedagogy from the University of Iowa, an MM in vocal performance from UNI, and a BM in vocal performance from Wartburg College. Amy Blades | Ginny/Townsperson - The Bridges of Madison County
Amy is thrilled to be back for her second time with Revival Theatre Company. She has preformed in many shows at TCR and this past April marked her 16th year performing in the Cedar Rapids Follies. Amy has been coaching and choreographing for competitive figure skating for 40 years. She has three wonderful children Catherine, Mitch, Grant and a husband Chuck.
Stephanie Goff | Celest #1 - Sunday in the Park with George
Stephanie is thrilled to make her Revival Theatre Company debut! Previous collaborations with Cameron and Brian include The Music Man in Concert (Marian) and RNH in Concert (soloist), both with Orchestra Iowa and TCR. Recent engagements include Before Broadway (Olive/Bonnie Ellen), a premier of the works of Robert Lindsey- Nassif and Gerard Estella at Brucemore; Speed Dating Tonight! (Kaylee/Nosy Mother) with Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre YA; and portraying an astronaut in the Iowa Women Lead Change promo 10 Years Strong (Taylor). A classically trained singer, Stephanie has performed as a soloist with orchestras and chamber groups throughout the Midwest and Florida. Stephanie works as a school counselor, and has three exceptional children and a very patient husband named Josh. She dedicates her performance to her favorite artist, Emmaline, who will be attending the show on her birthday.
Sage Spiker | Soldier/Dennis - Sunday in the Park with George
Sage Spiker – Sage is excited to be making his Revival Theatre Company debut in one of his favorite musicals. Sage is a senior at the University of Iowa, studying theatre and vocal performance. He has been involved in many area productions; most recently My Fair Lady at Theatre Cedar Rapids and the Before Broadway Cabaret at Brucemore. Other favorite roles include Ray in Red Speedo for Mirrorbox, Czolgosz in Assassins at Theatre Cedar Rapids, and Berger in Hair for City Circle. Sage is grateful to be a part of the thriving and supportive theatre community in this area. He hopes you enjoy the show as much as he does!

Michael Penick is a native of Iowa City and has appeared in several RTC productions including Victor/Victoria, Children of Eden (Adam/Noah), Pippin (Lewis) and Parade (Hugh Dorsey). He was the Artistic Director for Combined Efforts, a non-profit performing arts company with a mission of purposeful collaboration between artists with and without disabilities. Credits include, Mamma Mia with Circa 21, Merry Widow (Cascada) with Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre; Rock of Ages (Franz) with The Nolte Academy; Sweeney Todd (Anthony) and Next to Normal (Dr. Madden) with City Circle; and Music Man (Harold Hill) with Theatre Cedar Rapids. Mary Jane Claassen | Celest #2 - Sunday in the Park with George
Mary Jane Claassen, noted for her warm, rich tone and versatile style has most recently sung the role of Zulma in the The Italian Girl in Algiers with Opera Memphis and appeared frequently with the company. Other companies include Theatre Memphis, Opera Omaha, Des Moines Metro Opera, and Mary Jane is excited to make her Revival Theatre debut.
As a concert soloist, she has sung with Rhodes Mastersingers and the Memphis Symphony in Bach’s B Minor Mass, and a regional premier of Jennifer Higdon’s Ruminations featured on a PBS special “Articulate”. Some other major works include Bach’s Ein feste Burg ist unser Gott, Britten’s Ceremony of Carols, Handel’s Messiah, and a performance of Haydn’s Harmonie Messe at Carnegie Hall.
Having lived in Omaha, Dallas, and Memphis in the last ten years, she now lives in Iowa City with her two boys and husband and hopes to stay for a while.

Nadine is delighted to appear again with Revival Theatre Company! She been seen in RTC productions of Parade, Funny Girl, Evita, Ragtime At Theatre Cedar Rapids she appeared as Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast, Miss Andrew in Mary Poppins, as Marie in Calendar Girls and as Jack’s Mother in Into the Woods. She was a featured soloist in the Rodgers & Hammerstein concert which was co-produced by TCR and Orchestra Iowa in 2015.
She also sang Mrs. Paroo in the 2014 The Music Man in Concert at the Paramount Theatre. Favorite roles include Margaret in The Light in the Piazza and Mother Superior in The Sound of Music Many thanks to Brian and Cameron for this wonderful opportunity.
Rob Merritt | George - Sunday in the Park with George
A native of Cedar Rapids, Rob is thrilled to be making his debut with Revival Theatre Company. He’s previously been seen onstage at Theatre Cedar Rapids, Riverside Theatre, Brucemore, ICCT, Dreamwell, Fourth Room, City Circle, Mirrorbox Theatre and The Old Creamery Theatre, in such titles as Cabaret, The Crucible, Company, Into The Woods, Proof, Much Ado About Nothing, Bent, Red Speedo, The Rocky Horror Show, Rock of Ages, and The Wedding Singer. Rob is also a playwright and filmmaker whose work includes The Summerland Project, Amelia 2.0 and the new play Aurora, which will be premiered at Theatre Cedar Rapids in summer 2019.
